Farber Hebrew Day School - Yeshivat Akiva is looking for a dynamic, motivated, creative and thoughtful full-time or part-time Art teacher for its Kindergarten through 12th grade students.

Responsibilities include:

  • Teach grade-appropriate art units
  • Develop a great rapport with students
  • Nurture student curiosity and creativity
  • Develop art literacy
  • Integrate art with other subjects
  • Use classroom assessments to support student learning
  • Communicate regularly with parents
  • Warm personality

Strong candidates will be good team players, possess a growth mindset for themselves as well as their students, and feel a sense of appropriate urgency to educate their students. Mentoring is available.
