Key Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Community Manager, you will:
- Support Property Management: Assist the Community Manager in maintaining the property and coordinating day-to-day activities.
- Leadership: Step in to manage the property and delegate tasks to staff in the absence of the Community Manager, ensuring maximum performance.
- Marketing: Respond to inquiries, show and demonstrate apartments, follow up with prospective residents, and conduct market surveys.
- Lease Administration & Compliance: Verify applicants, perform move-in inspections, review welcome packets with new residents, and maintain legal records.
- Resident Relations: Process service requests, assist with resident issues, and help plan community activities and events.
- Accounting & Reporting: Maintain account records, make bank deposits, prepare reports, and assist with eviction processes if necessary.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least two years of experience with a property management company in a role equivalent to Assistant Manager, with satisfactory performance evaluations.
- OneSite Proficiency: Experience with OneSite property management software is preferred.
- LIHTC Knowledge: Experience with LIHTC properties is a significant plus.
