Summary:

The Benefits Strategy & Compliance Partner serves as a strategic advisor responsible for benefit plan optimization, reconciliation integrity, vendor oversight, and compliance assurance. This role evaluates plan design, models financial impact, ensures accuracy of benefit deductions and vendor invoices, and develops strategies to improve ROI. By blending reconciliation expertise with strategic planning, this position safeguards both financial integrity and long-term competitiveness of the benefits program.

Description

1. Reconcile vendor invoices, payroll deductions, and enrollment data; resolve discrepancies.

2. Lead compliance audits, ensuring alignment with ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, and plan rules.

3. Develop and monitor dashboards that track cost, utilization, and accuracy.

4. Model cost and ROI for proposed plan design changes.

5. Lead vendor RFPs, contract negotiations, and performance reviews.

6. Identify and implement process improvements in reconciliation and vendor data management.

7. Benchmark benefits against peers and best practices.

8. Provide executive-level reporting on financial integrity, compliance, and strategic opportunities.

9. Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility, collaboration, and a service-oriented approach consistent with Arkansas Children’s mission and values.
