Position Overview:
The Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager will handle all aspects of day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, payroll support, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage QuickBooks accounting system
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Support payroll processing and employee expense tracking
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audits as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accounting manager
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
