Impact Recruitment has partnered with a leading engineering consulting firm that offers its clients exceptional, innovative, professional engineering consulting services. They are looking to hire a Civil Engineer (EIT) to join their team of managers, engineers, and designers, representing the industry's top talent in Houston, Texas.Duties and responsibilities: The position performs general civil engineering work under the direct supervision of a project manager for clients the company serves in various markets.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will support the efforts of a Project Manager in team supervision and execution of various projects including:*
Site Engineering Design associated with buildings and parking*
Street improvement design*
Pavement rehabilitation*
Rough and precise grading plans*
Storm design and drainage calculations*
Potable and reclaimed waterlines design*
Sewer pipe design*
Flood control improvements*
Freeway and interchange improvements*
Specifications*
Utility coordination*
Permit processing

Qualifications:

Team leadership*
Additional software skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam*
Excellent writing and communication skills*
Ability to prepare engineering reports with the guidance of a project manager or senior individual.
