Data Visualization & Reporting Specialist

We're seeking someone to join our team as a Data Visualization & Reporting Specialist in NFR Data & Analytics to help execute on our data centric strategy.In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm's management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk. This is an Associate Director level position within the NFR Data & Analytics team who is responsible for establishing strong data governance, building and leveraging data analytics and executing on our data centric strategy.Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you'll do in the role:> Participate in Data Visualization, Reporting and Analytics related projects and working groups.> Drive the implementation of requirements by working closely with business and technology teams.> Support Non-Financial Risk management by deriving actionable insights from data> Provide guidance to key stakeholders on how to adopt data visualization best practices and/or leverage data analytics to solve problems.> Enhance program processes where opportunities exist and perform analysis to support strategic projects that add value to LCD.> Maintain data quality standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.What you'll bring to the role:?> Good written and oral communication skills.> Ability to work with global, cross-functional teams.> Direct experience in the financial services industry.> Strong understanding of data management.> Knowledge of visualization technologies such as Tableau and PowerBI>At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $80,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
