As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects, conducting research, and observing professional work environments to learn and develop your personal brand. You will be involved in tasks such as financial modeling, regulatory reporting, and project coordination, contributing to the success of client engagements.In this role at PwC, you will have the chance to work alongside experienced professionals, applying your learning mindset to understand accounting policies and financial reporting standards. This opportunity will allow you to appreciate diverse perspectives and develop your potential in a supportive environment, paving the way for future career opportunities in the field of capital markets and accounting advisory services.Responsibilities- Supporting teams in the execution of capital markets transactions and advisory services- Participating in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports- Assisting with the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in financial reporting- Engaging in project management tasks to streamline workflow and meet project goals- Utilizing Alteryx for automation and data analysis to enhance financial insights- Contributing to the development of accounting policies and procedures for client engagements- Collaborating on market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in capital markets- Assisting in the preparation for Initial Public Offerings (IPO) and other regulatory reporting requirements- Observing and learning about deal structures and organization restructuring processes- Supporting transaction advisory services by conducting research and gathering informationWhat You Must Have- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment.- Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application. Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student's final year of school Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student's final year of schoolWhat Sets You Apart- Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA- Demonstrating knowledge in Capital Markets Transactions- Utilizing Alteryx for data automation and analysis- Engaging in project management and coordination- Applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)- Participating in organization restructuring initiatives- Supporting transaction advisory services activities-Leveraging AI to create efficiencies, innovate ways of working and deliver distinctive outcomes
