JOB TITLE: Design and Analysis Engineer 3LOCATION: Berkeley, MOPAY RATE: $73.50/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.
Job Details:
Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Active Final U.S. Secret or Top-Secret Clearance required prior to start.

Summary:
Develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements in alignment with customer needs and contract requirements.
Create statements of work (SOWs) and technical performance specifications.
Analyze, translate, and implement requirements into system architecture, hardware/software designs, and interface specifications, ensuring traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
Conduct testing and validation to confirm system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve product integration issues, fielded hardware/software problems, and production anomalies.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies to support future product designs and business needs.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
Support the design, development, and documentation of moderately complex electrical and electronic systems.
Collaborate within design, build, and test teams to support product lifecycle activities.
Work 100% onsite at the designated location.
Requirements:
Active Final U.S. Secret or Top-Secret Clearance required prior to start.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related technical field.
5 9 years of relevant experience in systems, electrical, or electronics engineering.
Experience developing and maintaining system requirements, hardware/software designs, and interface specifications.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to electronic/electrical systems and system integration.
Ability to conduct testing, validation, and lifecycle support for hardware and software systems.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the St. Louis, Missouri region at own expense.
Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
Desired Skills:
Experience in the aerospace industry.
Experience working in design/build or test teams.
Experience creating, developing, or maintaining engineering processes.
Experience with electronic/electrical system design or testing based on requirements.
Strong understanding of data structures, system design, and architecture.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
