About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our team in Huntington Beach, CA. In this role, you’ll work on cutting-edge aerospace projects, designing wind tunnel models and precision components that support advanced research and development. If you enjoy solving complex engineering challenges and working in a fast-paced, innovative environment, this is the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Design wind tunnel models and mechanical components for aerospace R&D.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Support development of aerospace and aircraft-related hardware.
- Assist with structural analysis and design validation.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams for practical, manufacturable designs.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of mechanical design engineering experience.
- Strong 3D CAD modeling skills (Siemens NX or similar).
- Aerospace or aircraft design experience (preferred).
- Structural analysis experience (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Aeronautical preferred).
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (ITAR requirement).
- Active DoD clearance (a plus).
