We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Proposal Manager with APMF certification and a strong background in human capital management proposal capture. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience working with federal agencies such as the Department of Treasury, Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the Department of Energy, as well as local and state government experience.

Responsibilities

  • Proposal Development: Lead and manage the end-to-end proposal process, including planning, development, review, and submission of high-quality proposals that align with client requirements and company standards.
  • Capture Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, conduct competitive analysis, and develop win strategies that effectively position our organization in the marketplace.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in federal, state, and local agencies to understand their needs and tailor proposals accordingly.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all proposals meet compliance, formatting, and content standards, conducting thorough reviews and revisions as necessary.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, government regulations, and best practices in human capital management to enhance proposal competitiveness.

Qualifications

  • APMF certification required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of proposal management experience, specifically in human capital management.
  • Proven track record with federal agencies, including the Department of Treasury, CBP, and the Department of Energy, as well as local and state government experience.
  • Strong understanding of proposal processes, capture management, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with proposal management software and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions.
