Are you looking for a Challenge? Looking for an innovative organization and the opportunity to learn and grow professionally? We can help! We are seeking a Forklift Operator/Site Support Specialist to provide general camp support in support of Terrestris LLC ground operations in Yuma, AZ.

So, what will the Site Support Specialist at Terrestris do?

The Site Support Specialist plays a vital support role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of a remote camp environment. As the Site Support Specialist, you will assist in housekeeping, light maintenance, and general camp upkeep. Ideal candidates are dependable, physically fit, and able to work in remote or rugged conditions.

What does a typical day look like for the Forklift Operator/Site Support Specialist?

You will:

  • Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and equipment using a forklift in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Assist in laundry support services including the collection, loading, unloading, sorting, etc. of laundry bags.
  • Assist with general housekeeping duties (cleaning rooms, bathrooms, laundry, common areas).
  • Handle garbage and recycling disposal.
  • Stock supplies and storage areas are organized.
  • Assist with unloading and organizing deliveries.
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are upheld across camp facilities.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety issues to supervisors.

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the professional we're looking for if you have:

  • The ability to work in the United States permanently, without sponsorship.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A RealIDDriver's License or Current Passport
  • 2 years forklift operation experience.
  • Comfortable performing physical tasks such as bending, lifting (up to 40 lbs.), and standing for long periods.
  • Reliable transportation to and from Yuma, AZ.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in English.

We are extra impressed by folks with:

  • Forklift operator certificate.
  • Military experience.
  • A background/experience in a logistics field.
  • General mechanical knowledge.
  • Basic working knowledge of common trades, including but not limited to, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
  • Prior custodial, janitorial, or sanitation experience.
