Job Description

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Healthcare Business Partner to join our Administration team!

The Healthcare Business Partner is responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with local employers to drive patient volume to Northwest Specialty Hospital (NWSH). This position will analyze healthcare cost and utilization data to demonstrate how employers can reduce healthcare spending by directing their employees and dependents to NWSH for services. This role will develop and present customized cost comparison reports and value analyses to business leaders, brokers, and community partners. This position will collaborate with internal departments to gather accurate pricing and quality data and will serve as a community resource to support local employers in making informed healthcare decisions. This position will require strong data analysis skills, business acumen, and the ability to clearly communicate complex financial information to non-clinical audiences. The Healthcare Business Analyst will need to project a professional demeanor and appearance while maintaining the confidentiality of the Hospital, patients, and employees as appropriate. Works under stress and in situations that demand patience and tact while providing impeccable service. Local travel will be required to complete job duties.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Ability to work independently and stay on task.
  • Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools, and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results.
  • Three years of experience in healthcare analytics, business development, payer relations, or employer outreach.
  • Strong data analysis, financial modeling, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of healthcare operations, cost structures, and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Clean driving record.
