Join a respected company with over 100 years of experience, and bring your skills as a Heavy Equipment Technician to our expanding team in Worthington. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be repairing processing equipment, conveyors, and heavy equipment to include excavators and front-end loaders.

Responsibilities:

• Examine equipment to determine any damages or malfunctions, service as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment to a defined schedule and maintain preventative maintenance instructions.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, hydraulics, etc. to ensure they are in proper operating condition.
• Ensure all equipment/facilities are 100% complaint to standard safety practices.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent level of education preferred.
• Previous mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools, drive forklift, assemble heavy mechanisms.
• Ability to stand, sit, lift, bend and climb throughout shift.
• Valid drivers license preferred.
• Welding experience is required.
