Job Description
Waialae Country Club is a private membership club, which provides its members with a championship golf course, dining services, health/recreational facilities and hosts the PGA Tour's Sony Open in Hawaii. Waialae Country Club is recognized as a Platinum Club of America, Honorable Mention Platinum Club of the World and is designated as a Distinguished Club with ELITE status by BoardRoom Magazine.Position: Part-Time Host Department: Food & BeverageReports to: Director of Food & Beverage/Food & Beverage ManagerApplication Link: HostKey Responsibilities:
- Welcomes members and guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Assists with seating guests and providing menus.
- Oversees online reservation system and assists with making reservations in-person, by phone, and by email.
- Monitors and directs the flow of traffic in the dining room.
- Responds to member and guest inquiries.
- Assists with opening, closing, and side duties as needed.
Shifts:
- Daytime Host: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Tuesdays- Sundays
- Evening Host: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Wednesdays- Sundays
Requirements:
- Must have 1-3 months of related experience. Previous food and beverage service experience preferred.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
