Short Description:To serveas a professional staff employee of the Indiana State Police whose primaryresponsibility is to assist the Department's Legal Counsel and members of theLegal Office.

Processincoming Public Records Requests and fulfill within allotted timeframe
Researchand analyze law sources including statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legalcodes related to public records
Learn andapply Indiana Code to APRA requests for determination of release or denial ofrecords
Processbody and dash camera footage to ensure appropriate redactions are made per IC
ReviewIndiana Code and Indiana Administrative Code to make proposals regardingpotential language changes
Coordinateassembly of documentation required as the result of subpoenas and discoveryrequests if needed
Ensureproper indexing and filing of original legal documents as needed
Answerphones for Legal Office personnel
Performother duties as required
