This role is responsible for designing and developing engaging, impactful learning experiences for a variety of audiences within the organization. Reporting to the Learning and Experience Lead, you will collaborate with various departments to create high-quality eLearning content that aligns with business goals and enhances employee skills and performance. This role is based onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Important Notice: Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position. NOTE: This is an entry-level position. This role is not focused on User Experience Design (UX).Responsibilities:
- Design and develop instructional materials, including eLearning courses, videos, job aids, and assessments, from storyboard and script through final delivery, ensuring content is visually compelling, educationally sound, and aligned with learning objectives.
- Apply adult learning principles and Instructional Systems Design (ISD)/ADDIE methodologies to create interactive, performance-based content.
- Utilize eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, iSpring, Microsoft Office 365) to build courses and interactive modules.
- Translate subject matter expert (SME) technical input into structured, learner-focused materials.
- Develop content across multiple delivery platforms: instructor-led training, virtual instruction, computer-based modules, and blended learning formats.
- Create and maintain learning assets and toolkits, including job aids, practice guides, simulations, and assessments.
- Analyze learning data and learner feedback to assess training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Maintain curriculum documentation standards, version control, and regulatory traceability.
- Manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities to deliver high-quality content within scope and deadlines.
- Support structured rollout of curriculum updates to ensure minimal operational disruption.
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field.
- 1–3+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or corporate training.
- Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools and LMS platforms.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to develop, translate, and localize learning materials for a diverse, multilingual workforce.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to distill complex or technical information into clear, accessible content.
- Strong technical writing skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience with compliance training and technical training subjects is a plus.
- Experience with gamification, microlearning, and adaptive learning techniques.
- Experience managing, tracking, and evaluating training programs within an LMS.
- Certification from an Instructional Design organization or association.
- Minimum 5% travel required within South Florida across multiple company locations.
- Knowledge of wiring schematics on understanding and reading a manual to install components
