Duties & Responsibilities
Nutritional Assessment & Care: Evaluate individual resident nutritional needs and meticulously document the specialized nutritional care provided, ensuring alignment with physician orders and care plans.
Menu & Quality Oversight: Oversee the planning, preparation, and service of nutritious, appetizing meals, snacks, and supplements, ensuring they are presented in a pleasant, uplifting dining atmosphere.
Resident Advocacy & Choice: Empower residents by providing opportunities for independence and food choices that respect their personal preferences and individualized care goals.
Collaborative Communication: Actively receive and share essential clinical information, observing and reporting resident conditions to the appropriate healthcare and kitchen staff.
Privacy & Safety Excellence: Maintain strict resident privacy and confidentiality at all times. Follow all community infection control procedures, OSHA standards, and CDC guidelines during food service, resident assistance, and cleaning.
Compliance & Integrity: Uphold all applicable state/federal regulations and company policies, successfully fulfilling all duties within your professional scope of practice.

Required Qualifications
Education: Successful completion of an accredited college or university program in dietetics or nutrition.
Licensure & Registration: Active registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly American Dietetic Association) and/or valid state licensure as a Dietitian.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Licensed Dietitian.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate, read, and write in English.
Mathematical Aptitude: Strong ability to measure, calculate, and comprehend nutritional values and ingredient quantities.
Physical Resilience: Ability to maintain a stationary position, move about the facility effectively, and occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds.
Desired Qualifications
Specialized Experience: Prior experience working in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or senior living environment is preferred.
Location and Work Type
Work Type: Contract Clinician (Offering highly desirable schedule options of 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, with no weekends required).
Work Setting: Fully in-facility position providing a strong, supportive presence.
