Title: Locum to Perm- Physician- Hematology Oncology Des Moines, IADescription: MercyOne Des Moines AND MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Centers are looking for a Locum-to-Perm Hematologist Oncologist to cover their needs!Schedule:

Patient Contact Hours: 6
Clinic Days: 8
Clinic Hours: 8a-4p
Procedure/OR Days: 0
On Call: Yes; exact schedule TBD asap

Inpatient Responsibilities: Yes, at MercyOne Des Moines AND MercyOne West Des Moines
Outreach: Yes. Potentially Newton, Iowa ~ 6 days per month
Telehealth: Yes
Job Description: Medical Hematology/Oncology coverage for 4/5 days per week. Inpatient coverage of both sites
Number of Physicians: 1
Number of Advances Practice Providers: 0
Supervision of APPs expected: NO
Nursing Support: 1:1
Medical Imaging: Yes
Lab & Pharmacy: Yes
Clinic Provider Daily Volume: 10-30
Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: 10-15
Appointment Length: consult- 40 minutes, follow up- 20 minutes
Patient Population: Primary Clinic- Medicare/ Medicaid/Commercial; Secondary Clinical- Commercial, Medicare
EMR: EPIC

Services offered in the practicePatient assessments, new treatment plans, ongoing treatment plans, changes in therapy, referral for ancillary services, end of life care, chemotherapy management, pain management (radiation and surgical oncology management provided by existing providers with strong relationships)Bill Rates Needed for Submission:

Malpractice
Hourly
Holiday Hourly
Night Call (to include 2 gratis hours)
Holiday Night Call
24 Hour On Call (to include 4 gratis hours)
Holiday 24 Hour On Call
Call Back

Conversion fee (k rate cap)

Travel Reimbursement:

Flights - /round trip cap (to include all taxes and fees). No upgraded airfares or seat upgrades
Lodging- 1.5x the GSA rate cap average for the total stay (to include taxes and fees)
Rental Car - /day cap (including all taxes and fees) regardless of car class. SUV/upgrades over cap will need to be preapproved (will only be approved if needed for inclement weather)
Mileage- IRS Standard Rate
