Job Description

Morton County Planning & Zoning Board. The Planning & Zoning Board members are responsible for making recommendations to the County Commission regarding development and land uses in the county.  The appointment includes:

  • Review of master plans, preliminary and final plats.
  • Zone change request
  • Zoning Violations
  • Other items as instructed by the County Commission

The appointment is for a 4 year term expiring 06/30/2030. Meetings are usually held the fourth Wednesday of every month at 5:30pm at the Morton County Courthouse.

Deadline for application is June 18, 2026.
