Job Description

Design and develop automated machinery, managing projects from concept through testing and delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing, improve designs, and ensure efficient, high-performance equipment.

Description

  • Design and develop automated machinery and mechanical systems from concept through completion.
  • Create 3D models, assembly drawings, and detailed engineering documentation.
  • Manage projects from initial quote through Factory Acceptance Testing.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure proper fabrication and assembly of components.
  • Partner with assembly teams to support machine testing, validation, and performance optimization.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with controls, purchasing, and other internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering documentation.
  • Modify and improve existing designs to enhance functionality and performance.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and customers as needed.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience designing automated industrial machinery.
  • Proficiency with CAD software including SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical design principles.
  • Ability to generate creative, practical engineering solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Hands-on mindset with ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
