Primary Skills: Audio-Video Systems (Expert), Networking Troubleshoot (Proficient), Post-Production Workflow (Advanced), System Calibration (Expert), IP Media Protocols (Advanced) Contract Type: W2 Duration: 12+ Months Location: Los Angeles, CA Onsite Pay Range: $40 - $50 per hour on W2Summary:N-Tech Media Systems Engineering is looking for a Media Systems Regional Engineer based in LA to ensure the seamless operation of our technical and creative spaces. The successful candidate will maintain audio, video, and networking systems, support post-production pipelines, and partner with global teams to uphold the highest standards. You will act autonomously within the region, providing vital technical support and striving for continuous improvement in system efficiency and reliability.Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot complex audio, video, and networking systems across various creative spaces.
- Perform routine and emergency system calibrations to uphold industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams for high-performance media and network solutions.
- Serve as primary regional contact for all Media Systems Engineering needs, providing extensive support and coordination.
- Engage in proactive system improvement and rigorous documentation for operational excellence.
- Deep technical understanding of audio and video systems in a media production environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience with network troubleshooting.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- At least 5 years of experience in supporting post-production, studio, or creative technology infrastructure is required, with a solid understanding of the technical requirements of theatrical and screening environments, live events and production systems, audio production environments, and post-production & creative workflows.
