Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncology Physician to deliver exceptional inpatient and outpatient oncology services, lead a multidisciplinary team, and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. - Proven experience and comfort in inpatient malignant medical oncology and hematology consultations
- Strong clinical knowledge in medical oncology and hematology
- Ability to manage a high patient volume of 20-25 patients per day
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills
- Proficiency in procedures related to malignant and benign oncology cases
- Competence to supervise advanced practice providers and lead a multidisciplinary team
- Prior experience in hospital-based oncology practice
- Familiarity with hospital privileges at United Hospital, Abbott Northwestern, and Mercy Hospital
- Experience with outpatient and inpatient documentation within same-day timelines
- Ability to participate in coverage for outpatient services if needed
- Board Certification in Oncology and Hematology
- Valid Minnesota Medical License or In-Transit Medical License Certification (IMLC)
- Minimum of 3 years of oncology practice experience, with inpatient and consult scope
- Credentialing within approximately 90 days
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday, plus overnight on-call from home
- Availability to start as soon as possible
- Flexibility to support special procedures and hospital privileges
- Ability to adapt to various hospital settings and collaborate seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team
- Travel/License reimbursements applicable when necessary
