Job Summary
Summary: Join Levy Restaurants at Grand Casino Arena as a Prep Cook, where you'll be an integral part of the culinary team, supporting the preparation of high-quality food for Minnesota Wild games, Minnesota Frost games, concerts, and other premier events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and portion ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring seasonings, to support kitchen operations.
- Assist with the preparation of menu items, such as sauces, sides, and entrees, according to chef instructions and established recipes.
- Maintain clean and organized workstations, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production.
- Monitor inventory levels of prepared items and communicate replenishment needs to supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must hold a current ServSafe Food Handling Certification.
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen or food preparation role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
