Job Description
Our client, a Agriculture Products company, is looking for a Process Technician II for their Fargo, ND location.Responsibilities:
- The Process Technician plays a critical role in supporting the production floor, responding to technical requests, and resolving machine or mechanical issues in a timely manner. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and perform hands-on repairs to ensure smooth operations.
- Respond promptly to requests and trouble calls from the production floor.
- Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs issues with machines and mechanical equipment.
- Provide support with soldering tasks and related processes.
- Perform failure analysis and document findings.
- Operate diagnostic tools such as multimeters.
- Work with small robotics, conveyors, automated soldering stations, and material dispensary equipment.
- Track work performed using basic computer applications.
- Maintain a high level of safety and use required PPE (metatarsal shoes) at all times.
- The successful candidate will complete 2+ months of comprehensive training at the Main Plant.
- 3+ years of experience in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
- Hands-on experience with soldering (support and intermediate level)
- Ability to use multimeters and perform failure analysis
- Experience with small robotics, conveyance equipment, and automated machinery
- Basic proficiency with computers
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- 2-years technical degree or equivalent technician experience
