Our current opportunity is with a premier aerospace medical research division supporting aviation safety initiatives.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to assist and collaborate with Principal Investigators on project planning and program management of multiple projects within the Aerospace Medical Research & Safety Assurance Division. The Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently, budgets and schedules are maintained, and research objectives are met.

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. No work shall occur on federal holidays*

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, evaluate, and make recommendations for projects, program studies, and experiments

  • Develop proposals, cost estimates, and budgets

  • Review and coordinate statements of work and Interagency Agreements (IAA) with government program managers

  • Develop project plans and cost estimates for approved projects

  • Create briefing slides for proposals, project presentations, updates, and program reviews

  • Monitor and update project plans, spend down plans, and budgets

  • Maintain project schedules and provide regular status updates

  • Liaison with external organizations to establish and maintain relationships

  • Track study and experiment development

  • Schedule, attend, and facilitate meetings

  • Participate in professional activities, including collaboration on abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher from an accredited university in any field with relevant experience

  • 10+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • PMP Certification preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience working with government programs or research organizations is a plus
