Description:

You will be the Project Manager for the Lufkin Operations team. Our team is responsible for supporting various Lufkin Production programs through strategic planning.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Lufkin Operations Manager in shaping the future of these programs by engaging in work proposal efforts, capacity analysis, manpower planning, cost account management, and other strategic business efforts. You will also lead Lufkin product leads to ensure that current contract efforts for the Lufkin Production programs maintain cost, quality, and schedule commitments.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and presenting high-level plans to site level and VP level stakeholders
  • Working cross-functionally to achieve solutions to complex problems
  • Engaging in work proposal efforts, capacity analysis, and manpower planning
  • Leading Lufkin product leads to ensure contract commitments are met
  • Interacting with various program managers outside Lufkin Operations

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree with at least 6 years of professional experience.
  • Previous product management experience
  • Demonstrated ability in manpower and capacity planning.
  • Extensive presentation experience using Microsoft applications.
  • Manufacturing Supervisory experience.
  • Experience with production hardware processing and flow including Circuit Card Assembly, LRU/Box, and testing.
  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

Desired Skills:

  • Able to act as a prime consultant and external spokesperson for the organization on highly significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities, and long range goals and objectives.
  • Green belt certification and demonstrated use of

LSS principles in work applications.

  • People skills, specifically in teaming with internal and external Lufkin peers and customers.
  • Experience presenting to executive level and government customers.
  • Able to develop and apply advanced concepts, techniques, and standards.
  • Able to develop new applications based on professional principles and theories.
  • Able to develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high level of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
  • CAM training

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
