We're seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with public works expertise to support major infrastructure projects tied to NYC's new jail developments across the boroughs. This is a high‑impact role offering exposure to complex, large‑scale builds with strong earning potential. Client Details Our client is a reputable general contractor actively involved in major public works initiatives across New York City. With a growing portfolio tied to high‑profile civic developments, they offer stability, scale, and the opportunity to work on meaningful projects shaping the city. DescriptionManage public works construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.Coordinate with agencies, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams across multiple boroughs.Oversee budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and compliance documentation.Ensure adherence to public sector regulations, safety standards, and contract requirements.Travel between project sites as required to maintain progress and quality.ProfileA successful Project Manager should have:5+ years of public works construction experience (open to candidates from GC, CM, or owner-side backgrounds).Strong understanding of public-sector processes, compliance, and documentation.Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple locations.Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.Job OfferSalary up to $190K depending on experience.Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.Opportunity to work on high-profile NYC infrastructure projects.Strong pipeline of long-term, stable public works projects.Career growth within a well-established and actively expanding contractor.
