Job Description

Psychologist - Part-Time (2 Days/Week) - Pensacola, FL-Temporary 1099 Contract (Through or Slightly Before 1/5/26)

MPAC Healthcare, recognized as one of Crain's Best Places to Work and Great Place to Work-Certified, is seeking a compassionate Licensed Psychologist for a temporary 1099 contract supporting senior care services in a skilled nursing facility.

About the Role

This onsite role is two days per week and focuses on psychological assessment, therapy, and behavioral health support for older adults. You will work collaboratively with the facility's Director of Nursing, attending physicians, and MPAC clinicians to enhance residents' mental health and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete psychological and neuropsychological assessments with diagnostic impressions

  • Provide individual therapy and behavioral interventions

  • Document accurately in EMRs and MPAC systems

  • Advise staff on behavioral strategies and cognitive concerns

  • Support care planning and interdisciplinary communication

  • Build rapport with residents and facility teams

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology

  • Active Florida Psychologist License

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Experience in geriatric or skilled nursing settings preferred

  • Strong communication and independent decision-making skills

  • Reliable, compassionate, and mission-driven

Contract Details

  • Temporary 1099 contractor position

  • Assignment runs through or slightly before January 5, 2026
