Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits of mail kit products to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.
- Read and interpret job sheets, control plans, and ISO/CQM requirements.
- Understand calibration, verification, AQL, and military standards.
- Apply non-conformance processes and generate reports for management.
- Provide feedback on errors and support production in inspection and segregation of non-conforming products.
- Validate new products and maintain accurate audit input in the JAAMS system.
- Use job tracking systems effectively and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a positive attitude and collaborate with team members to meet quality goals.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed for major projects.
- Ensure conformance to the company's vision, mission, and values.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience working in manufacturing or production environments is preferred.
- Basic analytical, numerical, and reasoning skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
- Basic math skills and intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various formats.
- Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs. with good vision for detailed work.
