Job Opportunity in Olney, MD
Join our team and work in the vibrant community of Olney, MD. We are seeking a skilled professional to start ASAP, with orientation sessions available every Monday. This position offers a consistent schedule of 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with no on-call or weekend duties required.
- Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thurs, & Fri 0700-1530; Wed 0900-1730 (40 hrs guaranteed)
- Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate.
- EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam: Minimum score of 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms required.
- Certifications: ARRT-R, ACLS, BLS, and fluoro permit required.
- Licensing: MD license required.
- Experience: 2 years, including travel experience.
- Every other holiday required.
Responsibilities include scrubbing for IR, vascular, and pain procedures, and proficiency in operating the Philips Azurion C-arm and the portable C-arm. While cases in CT and X-ray are handled, floating to these areas is not required.
Procedural Types
- Interventional: Tunneled catheter placements (e.g., mediports, permacaths, Hickman lines), embolizations, drain placements, suprapubic catheter placements, PEG tube placements, and Pleurx catheter placements.
- Pain Management: Epidural blocks, radiofrequency ablations.
- Vascular: Angiograms, thrombectomies, fistulograms, IVC filter placements.
