About Us:

Located in the beautiful Park City, Utah, we are a fast-paced, highly respected orthopedic surgical center dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. We are currently seeking a Radiology Technician to join our growing team.

Position Overview:

As a Radiology Technician at our orthopedic surgical center, you will play a crucial role in providing diagnostic imaging services for our patients in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. You will assist our orthopedic surgeons and medical team by performing accurate and timely imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, in compliance with orthopedic protocols and safety standards.
  • Ensure accurate positioning of patients and images for optimal diagnostic quality.
  • Maintain radiology equipment and ensure all imaging procedures are performed according to established guidelines.
  • Provide clear, professional communication with patients to ensure comfort and understanding of procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation and aftercare of patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Ensure patient safety by following all radiation safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and imaging files.
  • Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, and medical staff to support patient care.
  • Respond quickly to urgent imaging requests, adapting to the fast-paced nature of an orthopedic surgical setting.
  • Comply with all HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or equivalent.
  • Valid state licensure (Utah) for Radiologic Technology.
  • Proven experience in radiology, ideally within an orthopedic or surgical setting (preferred but not required).
  • Strong knowledge of radiology techniques and safety standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient care and comfort.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Flexible and reliable, with availability for PRN (as-needed) shifts.
