  • of Beds/Residents: 26 bed

  • EMR: Matrix
  • Ratios: Nurses 1: 10 on day 1:19 nights,
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Heart disease, diabetes, dementia
  • Job Duties: Nurse act as charge and pass meds and perform wound care.
  • Experience or 'Must have' skills: LTC experience
  • Are there IVs or titratable drips?: NO
  • Area there Tele monitors? If so do you have monitor techs on this unit? Do RN's read strips?: NONE
  • Are RNs required to attend team conferences for acute inpatient rehab?: NO
  • DON/Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: DON, no supervisors
  • Physician availability after hours: By phone on-call
  • Interdisciplinary Team: no rehab beds only LTC
  • PT/OT/SLP, Pulmonary or Cardiac Rehab, Case Managers, Social Workers, Dieticians?: PT as needed, Social worker designee
  • Is RT on-site 24/7?: NONE
  • Oxygen Therapy /Equipment (ie Cpap, Bipap, High Flow): Concentrators and portable concentrators
  • Pharmacy on-site? Medication dispensing system?: Off site
  • Shifts & Scheduling: 12hr shifts 7-7, No blocked schedule & no self-scheduling
  • Weekend Requirements: EOW
  • Holiday Requirements: Every other major holiday
  • Call or Standby Requirement: NONE
  • Floating Requirements: NONE
  • Scrub Color/Dress Code: NONE , must be clean and presentable
  • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 2-3

Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.Entered On: 2/26/2024
