Job Description

RN – NICU (Contract)

Location: Arizona 85719Pay: $2,108 – $2,365

Schedule

  • Night Shift

  • 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

  • 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

  • Immediate start preferred

Position Summary & Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized care for neonatal patients in a Level III NICU

  • Monitor, assess, and manage critically ill newborns

  • Administer medications, IVs, and respiratory support as needed

  • Collaborate with neonatal team and support families

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure high-quality care

  • Float to pediatric unit for appropriate assignments as needed

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years NICU RN experience (Required)

  • Prior travel nursing experience (Required)

Licenses & Certifications

  • Active RN license in state of practice (Required)

  • BLS (Required)

  • NRP (Preferred/typically required for NICU)

Unit Details

  • Level III NICU

  • 36 beds

  • Potential float to pediatric unit

  • Scrubs: Navy (including navy warm-up jacket)

Additional Requirements

  • Strong neonatal critical care experience

  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced NICU environment

  • Must meet vaccination and compliance requirements
