Job Description

Position Description

This is a key position that leads projects and provides support for corporate brand sponsorships and partnerships. This position is responsible for identifying and implementing activation strategies for sponsorships in order to optimize the return on investment and achieve shared goals.

Position Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute community/marketing events within the corporate strategy (i.e. sports sponsorships, concert series) including volunteer recruitment, ticket distribution, and host suites.
  • Manage all asset creation for sponsorships (i.e. LED signage, event programs, venue signage, etc.) in conjunction with Creative Director and the external partners (music venue, event location, theaters, etc.).
  • Recruit and schedule teammates to be representatives on behalf of the Bank for various types of sponsorships.
  • Partner with the social media and regional team to ensure to capture content and assets for use in social media, branch monitors and other news outlets to promote and celebrate sponsorships (as appropriate).
  • Help manage and track sponsorship budgets including invoice process and reconciliation to the annual budget established by the CMO and managed by sponsorship leadership.
  • Build relationships and collaborative partnerships with sponsored entities.
  • Evaluate and measure partnership to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • As needed, serve as bank representative/team lead for all community and teammate volunteer events.

Organizational Relationship

This position reports to the Senior Manager - Sponsorships.

Position Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Communications required
  • Experience in Marketing, Public Relations, and/or Event Planning required
  • Five or more years of experience in marketing, project management or communications roles. Financial Services preferred

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management - from CEO to junior teammate - both internal and external
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated creative problem skills
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks with attention to details
  • Flexible and able to adapt to change
  • Analytical and creative
  • Familiarity with dashboards and other technology solutions related to sponsorships
  • Proficient computer skills relevant to Microsoft WordExcel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of creative/design principles to work effectively with internal creative team and outside partners
  • Strong social media skills
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs preferred
  • Job requires travel, which may include weekends

Salary offered will be based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. This position is also eligible to participate in either an applicable incentive compensation plan for the position or a discretionary profit sharing bonus program.
