Senior Healthcare Business AnalystLocation : Hartford, CT - Hybrid - 3 Days a weekPosition Summary:We are seeking a detail oriented and analytical Healthcare Business Analyst to support business operations, technology initiatives, and process improvements within the healthcare domain. The role involves working with stakeholders across clinical, operational, and IT teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver solutions that improve patient care, compliance, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Should have experience in Pharmacy Benefits ManagementGather, document, and analyze business and system requirements in the healthcare domain (payer, provider, claims, EHR/EMR, pharmacy, or regulatory compliance).Translate stakeholders into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, QA, clinicians, operations) to ensure requirements are well understood and implemented. Analyze healthcare data, workflows, and reporting needs, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.Conduct gap analysis between current and future state processes.Support system implementation, testing (UAT, SIT), and change management activities.Create process flows, data mappings, and documentation for healthcare systems and applications.Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports/dashboards for stakeholders.Stay updated on healthcare industry trends, standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD, CPT), and regulatory change
