Shift Lead (Del Taco)

We are looking for a motivated and energetic Shift Lead to join our Del Taco team! In this role, you’ll help lead daily restaurant operations while creating a fast, friendly, and clean experience for every guest. You’ll support the management team by leading shifts, motivating team members, and ensuring operational standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support management with daily restaurant operations and shift execution
• Lead, coach, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding guest service
• Ensure food quality, speed of service, and food safety standards are maintained
• Delegate tasks and help keep shifts running efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Train and support new team members on company procedures and expectations
• Assist with cash handling, inventory, and other shift responsibilities
• Resolve guest concerns professionally with a customer-first mindset
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the restaurant
• Enforce company policies while fostering a positive team environment

Requirements

Support restaurant management in day-to-day operations

Lead and motivate team members to deliver excellent service and efficiency

Manage shifts, delegate tasks, and ensure food quality and safety standards are met

Train and coach team members on performance expectations and procedures

Assist with inventory, cash handling, and shift responsibilities

Handle guest concerns with professionalism and a customer-first attitude

Enforce company policies and maintain a safe, respectful workplace

Help onboard and support new team members

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the restaurant inside and out
