  • Drive price setting for new service lines and assays, developing relevant packages to optimize value capture in close collaboration with Product Management, Commercial, and MSD teams.
  • Conduct in-depth pricing diagnostics to identify misaligned assay families and address mispricing through sustainable pricing implementation plans.
  • Build and maintain price books across all currencies and sites for annual upload to SFDC, with input from Product Management.
  • Collaborate with Global Franchises on annual pricing increases, targeted pricing changes, and new or updated service price setting, incorporating market insights and competitive intelligence from modality-based strategy teams.
  • Incorporate regulatory and market insights from scientific and regulatory experts to inform value positioning of service offerings.
  • Value Management
  • Collaborate with Sales strategically and analytically to drive topline growth and profitability, including recommendations on structure, pricing, value positioning, and risk mitigation for key customer agreements.
  • Partner with Business Development Managers (including SEA and regional heads) to deliver pricing support materials, offer configuration for unique service offerings, and guidance on discount negotiation frameworks; discuss VoC feedback and market assumptions.
  • Create customer- and RFP-specific offer configurations for key clients and strategic requests, addressing non-standard pricing scenarios including reserved capacity, creative contracting, and legacy pricing.
  • Support Strategic Business Development and Field Marketing in developing offer structures and pricing approaches for key opportunities, collaborating on service value perception and positioning.
  • Build negotiation frameworks for discounting and assay packages to guide the sales team in incentivizing client engagement across the full CTS portfolio.
  • Incorporate value positioning, cost considerations, labor burden, capacity availability, and innovation potential in close collaboration with Ops/QA/CPM/R&D into pricing decisions and offer structures.
  • Tool Development & Metrics Dashboards
  • Optimize pricing for custom and semi-custom services by maintaining existing pricing models and building new ones as required to maximize price-volume alignment, proposal efficiency, and capacity utilization.
  • Develop and improve pricing tools and structures in collaboration with Proposal Writing and Controlling, leveraging cost rates to support accurate forecasting and price effect reporting.
  • Support S&OP through price effect forecasting, collaboration on data solutions, and capacity utilization analysis including reserved capacity offer development.
  • Maintain DOMO dashboards related to pricing, discounting, and sales packages, partnering with Shared Data Services on data sourcing and metrics infrastructure.
  • Deliver monthly reporting of pricing and volume trends using best available data and realistic assumptions reflective of CTS's business model.
  • Provide CTSLT with key insights on pricing initiatives and price effect reporting as required.
