Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. Appian is in growth mode and needs a sharp, driven Recruiter to help scale our business by hiring top talent for our Marketing, Corporate, Product, and Sales teams. This role is based at our headquarters in McLean, Virginia. Appian was built on a culture of in-person collaboration, which we believe is a key driver of our mission to be the best. At Appian, you will:

  • Manage the full candidate lifecycle from sourcing to closing

  • Create and execute tailored sourcing strategies across multiple platforms

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring leaders across departments

  • Contribute to strengthening Appian's employer brand through a great candidate experience and community engagement

  • Help improve and evolve interview best practices

  • Understand Appian's business strategy and competitive positioning to align hiring efforts

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3+ years proven success as a Recruiter; Go-To-Market recruiting experience strongly preferred

  • Trusted talent advisor with the ability to influence and execute alongside senior leaders

  • Skilled at prioritizing competing needs across multiple departments

  • Self-aware and thoughtful in interactions with candidates and colleagues

  • Able to use market knowledge and data to guide hiring strategies

  • Operate with urgency and accountability in a fast-paced environment
