Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a local travel contract opportunity in Fargo, ND. This position is with one of our valued healthcare partners specializing in long-term care and disability services. Job Description
- Provide respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients (primarily ages 815, occasional younger patients)*
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions*
- Manage and maintain tracheostomy care (trachs) with confidence and expertise*
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes*
- Respond to respiratory emergencies in a 24/7 care setting*
- Document treatments and patient progress accurately and timely*
- Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory care plans and equipment
Education & Certification Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential*
- Current state licensure as an RRT in North Dakota*
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (ACLS/PALS preferred)*
- Minimum of 12 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience*
- Prior travel experience required*
- Demonstrated experience working with pediatric populations (infant to teen)*
- Must have hands-on experience and comfort with tracheostomy care
