Job Title: Warehouse Associate – Wholesale Team Lead  Location: Eberlestock Distribution Center Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30AM to 3:30 PM (flex based on business needs) Pay: DOE Reports To: Warehouse Manager 

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate – Wholesale Team Lead plays a critical hands-on leadership role in the execution of all wholesale and sales-driven orders within the warehouse. This position is responsible not only for overseeing core warehouse functions such as picking, packing, and shipping, but also for ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient fulfillment of outbound wholesale orders. 

This role serves as a key point of coordination between the warehouse and the sales team, supporting clear communication, order prioritization, and alignment on fulfillment expectations. The Wholesale Team Lead is also responsible for assisting with outbound logistics coordination, including freight scheduling and shipment execution, to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time. 

Leading by example, the Warehouse Team Lead sets the standard for performance, accountability, and attention to detail on the floor. This role partners closely with the Warehouse Manager and Assistant Warehouse Manager to drive operational consistency, resolve issues in real time, and maintain a high-performing warehouse environment that supports both internal teams and external customers.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead daily warehouse operations by setting the pace, standard, and expectations for the team 

  • Own the execution of all wholesale and sales team driven order with the warehouse ensuring prioritization, accuracy, and shipping in accordance with SLA 

  • Serve as liaison between warehouse and Sales Team ensuring the flow of clear communication regarding wholesale order status, inventory constraints, fulfillment issues, processing times, and order delays or changes 

  • Manage logistics and outbound freight coordination with carrier partners including the scheduling of pickups, freight compliance and documentation, correction of shipping issues, and cost optimization 

  • Partner with the Warehouse Manager to continuously improve wholesale operations by identifying inefficiencies, implementing process improvements, developing SOPs, and driving execution with speed, accuracy, and scalability 

  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with speed and accuracy 

  • Prepare shipments according to company standards and carrier requirements 

  • Support and coordinate daily workflow to ensure operational goals are met 

  • Monitor work quality and provide real-time guidance and feedback to team members 

  • Assist with training and onboarding of new warehouse team members 

  • Identify and resolve operations issues quickly to minimize disruption 

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse work areas 

  • Assist with building and/or breaking down boxes, as needed 

  • Assist with carrier pickups and drop-offs, as needed 

  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory organization 

  • Receive, inspect, and process customer returns, as needed. 

  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts; forklifts if certified) 

  • Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and company policies 

  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily shipping and operational goals 

  • Partner with leadership to drive accountability, efficiency, and team performance 

Required Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred 

  • 1-3 years of warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment experience preferred 

  • Prior experience in a lead or informal leadership role strongly preferred 

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and operate with urgency in a fast-paced environment 

  • Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in written form  

  • Strong attention to detail and organization 

  • Dependable, accountable, and team-oriented 

  • Willingness to take ownership and lead from the front 

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

  • Familiarity with NetSuite ERP, preferred  

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods 

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repeatedly 

  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and work on your feet throughout the shift
