Job Description

Job Title: Adjunct Faculty - Honors Program (Teaching) - HONRS 320

Posting Close Date: June 1, 2025 at 12:00am (MDT)

*NOTE: Last day to apply is Saturday, May 31, 2025

Position Start Date: September 3, 2025

Required Degree: MA in English, MFA in Creative Writing, or comparable field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience: College-level writing course instruction, knowledge or experience in creative non-fiction writing instruction. Experience with interdisciplinary study preferred.

Duties/Expectations: Teach assigned curriculum for HONRS 320 (3.0 credit hours); meet regularly and coordinate with HONRS 320 supervisor and instruction team.

Instructor Availability: Applicants must be available to teach in-person classes on the BYU Provo campus, meet regularly and coordinate with HONRS 320 supervisor and instruction team, hold regular office hours and consult with students, and respond to student inquiries in a timely manner.

This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
