Qualifications Strong experience in data modeling and automation of data pipelines and reporting workflows. Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure). Overview

We are hiring for a Technical Director, Data & Data Science. Our Data Operations team plays a critical role in delivering high-impact reporting and analytics, working closely with planning and investment teams to consistently exceed client business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in data modeling and automation of data pipelines and reporting workflows.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure).
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in SQL for data querying, transformation, and analysis.
  • Expertise in quality assurance methodologies and issue resolution.

Education and Experience

  • A university degree in a related field, and 7-10 years of experience in advertising, management consulting, marketing or digital consulting
  • Knowledge of agency-side execution processes

Responsibilities

External facing responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional discussions with key stakeholders to optimize media reporting frameworks.
  • Champion the adoption of automated reporting solutions and drive process improvements across teams.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on data quality initiatives, offering guidance and best practices for related projects and processes.
  • Collect and translate reporting requirements for both internal and client-facing dashboards and reports.
  • Facilitate effective communication and task progression through regular status meetings and collaborative working sessions.
  • Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve project roadblocks and issues.
  • Oversee project plans for all reporting deliverables, ensuring alignment across teams and clients.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of scheduled and ad hoc reporting requests.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and expertise for data operations processes.

Internal leadership responsibilities:

  • Uphold and enforce data quality standards throughout all reporting and analytics processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior staff and offshore teams to foster a high-performing, collaborative culture.
  • Develop, document, and maintain data standards, operational processes, and best practice guides.
  • Identify and recommend solutions for data quality challenges and operational inefficiencies.
