Strong communication skills are essential, as the Engineer will collaborate with research, engineering, geoscience, land analysis, and field teams. Startup experience is a strong plus. Competencies- What we're looking for Minimum 5+ years experience in software engineering in a business environment. Experience leading data engineering projects with high independence. Proven technical skills: Proven experience developing and maintaining data-centric cloud engineering solutions. Our stack is built on GCP, in particular Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, and Compute Engine. Event-driven data engineering architecture experience is a plus. Proven experience with design and implementation of complex, heterogeneous data storage, compute and orchestration services. We deal with everything ranging from small tabular datasets to complex voxelated representations of geothermal systems, to large, multi-channel high-resolution time series, and all of it must fit nicely together.
