Responsibilities Work with co-teacher (as relevant) to create and foster a culture where all students can achieve at high levels; Implement a Common Core-aligned curriculum through backwards lesson planning, following school-wide protocols for developing and documenting syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and rubrics, and utilizing research-based best practices to support all learners; Actively prepare for and participate in all meetings (such as grade team meetings, Student Support Meetings, IEP Meetings, etc.), collaborative planning, and professional development including an annual summer institute; Track, monitor, and assume responsibility for the academic progress for all students in the classroom; Analyze assessment data and daily data including Exit Tickets and Do Now's to inform instruction; Set and maintain high expectations by building meaningful relationships; Work with Student Culture Team and Student Support Team to create and progress monitor individual plans for students, as needed; Build a warm and inclusive classroom environment and abide by school-wide practices for classroom management and individual behavior plans; Work with grade team, leadership team, and related service providers to analyze data, revise practices, norm on team-wide initiatives, and discuss individual scholars with a solutions-oriented mindset; Establish and maintain strong relationships and regularly communicate scholars' progress towards academic, social-emotional, and behavioral goals and with families; Additional duties related to the running of the school as assigned. Qualifications Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred; [at DCHS, Bachelor's degree required] New York State certification in subject area preferred; At least two years of teaching experience with record of improving student achievement preferred; A desire to make a difference in the lives of our students, families and community; Desire and ability to receive and implement feedback; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences (including colleagues, students, families); A commitment to working with diverse populations of families and students; Bilingual (Spanish) preferred; A strong belief in the mission and values of DREAM, including the desire to make a difference in the lives of our students, families, and community. Compensation The salary range for incoming teachers is $75,000 to $100,000. New teacher salaries are determined based on the number of years of experience as a teacher. Teachers are eligible for annual salary increases based on tenure and performance; salaries for teachers who continue on at DREAM can exceed the incoming teacher band above. Responsibilities:

  • Present healthcare professionals and decision makers with accurate, unbiased, balanced and timely answers to unsolicited request for information about bladder cancer.
  • Establish scientific and clinical relationships with key opinion leaders and academic centers to expand research and educational opportunities in Uro-Oncology/Bladder Cancer.
  • Provide study support from protocol and budget development to submission and completion for Phase IV as well as Investigator Initiated Trials (IIT's).
  • Provide continuing field scientific support and training for sales and Corporate Account Managers (CAM's).
  • Document and forward reports of adverse events to appropriate personnel.
  • Keep abreast of medical and scientific developments in assigned therapeutic area.
  • Proactively report competitive activities as well as events that can influence the use of product(s).
  • Develop and deliver scientific/educational programs including but not limited to formulary presentations for managed care and related organizations.
  • Assist Medical Affairs as well as agency personnel in the development of presentations and slide kits.
  • Actively participate in advisory boards, speaker training events, clinical investigator meetings, regional national and international meetings when required.
  • Assist in processing of field request for medical education funding.
  • Participate in key medical and scientific conferences by staffing medical information booths; gathering competitive intelligence on competitors and attending scientific sessions.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate degree (D.V.M., M.D., Ph.D. or Pharm .D). in biological sciences.
  • Minimum of 2 years previous MSL Experience or previous relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Uro-Oncology, Urology or Oncology required as a practicing MSL.
  • Ability to apply technical expertise and solutions to diverse/individualized situations.
  • Working knowledge of FDA and OIG requirements as well as clinical trial design and statistics is required.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Teamwork skills and an ability to work effectively with a variety of colleagues; networking skills and the confidence to interact with senior experts on a peer-to-peer level.
  • Note: MSL positions are field-based role. We seek candidates who are willing and able to travel 60 % or more of the time.
