The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the design, integration, consolidation and normalization of financial data from disparate systems that enables improved data-driven decision making, actionable insights that is accessible to all stakeholders. The Finance Systems Leader for Financial Data and Analytics is an engineering leader who works with the business and engineering staff to innovate and build the financial analytics solution to support large data sets and complex actuarial models. This role reports to the Sr Director FP&A Tech and will be vital to driving the evolution of financial reporting and analytics capabilities. The successful candidate will lead and build a high performing technical team and be responsible for the development and delivery of financial data applications and analytics. Position Responsibilities As the Senior Manager of our Finance Data warehouse/lake you will: Lead the design, build and optimization of the Finance Data Warehouse, with a focus on structuring financial data for advanced analysis and insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Tech, Business Intelligence, etc.) to build and maintain finance data models, dashboards, and reports that meet business and reporting needs. Guide the development of self-service analytics tools and dashboards, empowering business units to generate insights independently. Drive the development of advanced analytical capabilities such as predictive modeling, trend analysis, AI and financial forecasting. Leverage finance system knowledge to ensure seamless integration of financial data from ERP systems, sub-ledgers and other enterprise sources. Collaborate with FP&A, Pricing and other Finance teams to champion a culture of data-driven decision making by providing education, support and tools. Establish and enforce strong data governance standards to ensure high-quality, consistent, accurate and secure financial data. Develop and deploy advanced financial reporting and analytics tools, enabling senior leadership to make informed decisions Manage a team of data engineers providing mentorship, guidance and support for career development. Facilitate Business and Technology discussions at various leadership levels to build technology roadmaps to ensure alignment towards long term finance objectives. Share your passion for staying on top of tech/industry trends, experimenting with, and learning recent technologies, participating in internal and external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community. Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams. Qualifications 20+ years of Technology Systems experience 15+ years of management or lead experience in guiding Technology teams 5+ years experience in financial analytics, financial data analytics or financial planning and analysis technologies Experience working with or managing a Finance Data Warehouse / Lake is preferred Strong background in financial modeling, analytics and reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, Excel). 5+ years of experience with ERP systems (Oracle, Workday, SAP, PeopleSoft) and FP&A systems (Oracle EPM, TM1/Cognos) is highly desirable. Familiarity with data governance frameworks, especially in the context of financial data. Experience in driving the adoption of financial analytics tools and dashboards across different teams and levels of the organization. Understanding of Accounting process; Controls; Security; and SOX to partner with senior Finance Leaders Ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for business leaders. Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, such as financial forecasting, predictive analytics or machine learning is a plus Experience with developing systems that are scalable, resilient, and highly available Ability to communicate and work directly with business leaders across Technology and Finance Solid understanding of project management techniques, methodologies, and best practices. Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment Knowledge and experience with the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication) Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent education or work experience Annual Salary $150,000.00 - $300,000.00 The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Master Data Specialist - Remote Virginia

What You Will Do:

  • Entry of data quality & completeness
  • Review of daily returned mail, track and monitor details
  • Correct and update master data as needed with a thorough understanding of the rules and standards of master data maintenance
  • Maintain and continually scrub for consistency and standardization of nomenclature
  • Analyze data for mass maintenance, working with the dept manager and AR to identify errors and implement sustainable, long-term fixes
  • Utilize excel templates to assist with mass maintenance requests, utilizing the most appropriate tool(s)
  • Interact with branches and customers to ensure validity of master data updates
  • Communicate data quality and completeness changes
  • Assist with pricing, material, and other functional data uploads as needed

What You Need to Succeed:

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP and/or D360 systems as our organization will be transitioning from SAP to D360 Master Data within the year.
  • Candidate should understand the sales, distribution, and order management module in a service environment.
  • Highly organized and ability to take initiative
  • Ability to problem-solve, analyze, troubleshoot, and make decisions
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel
  • Attention to detail with a clear understanding of master data functionality and sense of urgency for follow through of resolution
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal
