The information technology (IT) developers and data engineers will use your skills and procedures to support ingestion, storage and consumption of data. Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement the enterprise data platform (Nexus) that includes multiple data ingestion, storage and consumption patterns

  • Support enterprise initiatives for Nexus solutions to meet their ingestion and consumption requirements

  • Ensure designed solutions are optimal and robust - research and identify likely issues during incubation stages - and meet data governance requirements

  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies for enterprise data platform to meet different ingestion and consumption patterns

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders to understand business requirements and communicate them to data architects, engineering and platform teams to develop optimum and robust solutions

  • Coordinate with management on issue identification, escalation and remediation

  • Assist with weekly and monthly metrics and reporting, and stakeholder meeting materials

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred. Typically has 8-10 years related experience.

  • 8-10 years' experience in data architecture, data engineering, data management and/or data science related projects in Financial Services industry - along with complimentary experience in collaborating with team members and working in a diverse workplace

  • Experience in gathering requirements, data modeling, designing and developing data-centric solutions

  • Strong understanding with experience in Cloud technologies such as Informatica (IDMC/IICS), Kafka, Dremio, GraphQL, AWS, Snowflake and MongoDB

  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and effectively collaborate with stakeholders to influence outcomes
