Qualifications:-

  • Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in technologies like Cognos / BO/HANA / Tableau.
  • Firm understanding of the overall architecture required to support common schema based objects used to store data and implement business logic.
  • Extensive experience with database development tools (Oracle, Toad), ETL and integration technologies
  • Ability to perform PL/SQL coding assignments including stand-alone SQL scripting and database stored code (triggers, packages, procedures, and functions) in compliance with standards and procedures.
  • Experience with managing and resolving problems on a live production system.
  • Solid understanding of SQL performance tuning techniques including query plan understanding and management, SQL tracing, DB stats, Experience with software development lifecycle and software development common practices (code reviews, unit testing etc.).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are essential
  • Solid work ethic, self-driven with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Aptitude for debugging problems in complex, unfamiliar code
