Senior UI/UX Designer (Figma, WordPress Block-Based Design)

SiteCareLaGrange, GA
The Role SiteCare is hiring a Senior UI/UX Designer to improve and evolve client websites quickly, cleanly, and with excellent taste. This role is ideal for a designer who moves fast without making a mess. Most of your work will be improving existing WordPress websites through high-impact section redesigns, UX cleanup, and layout refinement. You’ll also support SiteCare’s internal marketing efforts by creating ad creative and related campaign design assets. You do not need to be a WordPress developer, but you do need to understand how to design in a modular, block-based way so what you create can be implemented efficiently. This role requires consistent availability during 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET for collaboration and fast turnaround. What You’ll Own Client Design Improvements (75%) Redesign key page sections (heroes, value props, social proof, CTAs, pricing, FAQs) to improve clarity, hierarchy, and conversion flow. Clean up UX issues across existing pages, including site navigation, user journeys, spacing, typography, responsiveness, and consistency. Recreate existing live site layouts in Figma when original design files are unavailable. Work in fast iteration loops with Account Managers to deliver high-quality updates without drawn-out review cycles. Provide designs that are implementation-ready for Developers (clear structure, consistent components, sensible constraints). SiteCare Marketing Creative (25%) Design ad creative and variations for paid campaigns. Collaborate directly with the Chief of Staff on internal marketing priorities. Support campaign landing page design as needed. Speed Expectations This role is built around strong execution with fast turnaround. For most common client requests, we expect initial design delivery within 24-48 hours, with iterative revisions handled quickly and professionally. About AI-Generated Design Work We are not looking for AI-generated design output. This role requires strong human design judgment, taste, and original execution in Figma. Tools can support workflow, but your layouts, hierarchy, typography, and UX decisions must be your own. What Success Looks Like Within the first 90 days: Client design requests move faster and more smoothly. Pages look more polished, cohesive, and intentional. Communication loops tighten, with less back-and-forth and fewer misunderstandings. Developers receive cleaner, more buildable design assets. Internal ad creative output becomes more consistent and scalable. What We’re Looking For You have: 5+ years of UI/UX or web design experience, ideally across multiple sites and industries. Agency experience would be very relevant. Strong layout and typography instincts (you can make a page feel “expensive” fast). Deep expertise in Figma, including components, auto layout, and structured files. The ability to recreate a site’s design in Figma using the live site as the source of truth. A practical understanding of designing for WordPress block-based layouts (modular thinking, reusable patterns). A low-ego, high-iteration mindset and the ability to take feedback without defensiveness. Strong communication skills and a reputation for responsiveness in a remote environment. This Role Is Not a Fit If You Move slowly or need long creative runways to deliver. Dislike feedback loops or frequent iteration. Prefer designing perfect concepts over shipping implementable work. Struggle to communicate clearly and consistently in a remote team. Rely on AI tools to generate layouts, UI compositions, or design direction instead of doing real design work. About SiteCare SiteCare provides WordPress support, maintenance, performance optimization, and development for growing companies. We work with marketing teams that need speed, reliability, and expert execution without internal complexity. We value responsiveness, clarity, and high standards. How to Apply Please include: A link to your portfolio (Figma links welcome) 2–3 examples of web design work you’re proud of Any examples where you redesigned or improved an existing site (especially without original design files) Please do not submit AI-generated portfolios or AI-composed UI work. We will ask specific questions in the interview process to confirm your design thinking and authorship. Powered by JazzHR

Job Description

About The Role

As a Senior User Experience (UX/UI) Design Lead, you will be a design leader on our team of designers and researchers that empathize with and advocate for our internal users and external customers, connect insights to design strategy, and create new digital interactions and experiences across our web and mobile platforms. This role will focus primarily on the design of proprietary operations interfaces, AI-powered pricing tools, and merchandising tools to enable our organization to deliver an excellent experience to our internal users and ultimately our consignors and buyers, driving value and efficiency for our business.

Our designers participate in all parts of the design process, from fielding design research, to shaping strategy, to generating divergent options, prototyping, and iterating based on user and stakeholder feedback. As a senior member of the team, we expect you to take this a step further and drive the end-to-end design process. This starts with crafting the right design brief in partnership with product, engineering, and stakeholders and goes all the way to handing off pixel perfect screens for testing and iteration post production.

We're looking for curious people who are divergent thinkers and confident collaborators. You will seek to understand the why behind what our customers think, say, feel, and do to get inspired, and you will take the initiative to explore and visualize what this could mean for our product. You'll work with partners and stakeholders from across the company, telling the real stories behind your work to drive consensus, ship meaningful products, and amplify the role of human-centered design within the company.

What You Get To Do Everyday

  • Drive end-to-end product and feature design for your squads

  • Collaborate with research to design studies, gain empathy for users' unmet needs, desires, and aspirations (current and future)

  • Turn insights into actionable strategy to guide your work (e.g. using segmentation, personas, and insights to define a design space; creating customer journey maps where necessary; developing design principles or other frameworks to organize solutioning)

  • Draw interfaces and make prototypes that are informed by customer insights (from pen and paper to interactive prototypes)

  • Share your work with end users, the design team, Product & Tech collaborators, and business stakeholders to get feedback, learn, and iterate

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to bring your work to market

  • Explore and adopt AI tools and new methods that will help us accelerate our workflows and raise the level of quality of our digital experience

What You Bring To The Role

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in UX Design, UI Design, Systems design, Interaction Design, Product Design or similar

  • Experience with human-centered design process, starting with user insights, ideating, prototyping, and iterating based on user feedback

  • Interaction design where you've made things that are discoverable, comfortable, and give good feedback. Attention to how everything responds before, during, and after

  • 2D interactive prototyping where people can try things with taps, swipes, or clicks

  • Portfolio demonstrating a range of work, from developing new to the world products/experiences to refining things that already exist (can include work that has and has not shipped)

  • Experience designing interfaces across mobile apps and websites, bonus if you've designed for and with AI tools

  • Ability to travel up to 5%

Compensation, Benefits, + Perks

  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan

  • 401K with Company Match

  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance

  • Paid Parental Leave

  • 9 Paid Company Holidays
