Hiring a Civil Design Project Engineer - Someone preferably with experience on Land Development projects. Strong background in Civil 3D, Stormwater Management, Grading, Storm water Drainage, and Water System layouts and design. This position requires 2 days a week in office - can report to either our Thurmont or Westminster and /or Shepherdstown (WV) offices. Duties/Responsibilities: Design and prepare site development plans using Civil 3D, including grading, utility layouts, and stormwater systems. Develop stormwater management and drainage designs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and calculations for stormwater conveyance systems. Create and review erosion and sediment control plans. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, clients, and permitting agencies. Assist with preparing construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, and permitting submittals. Conduct site assessments and collaborate with field teams as needed. Support project managers in delivering quality design documents on time and within budget. Required Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (required). 3+ years of relevant experience in land development and site civil design.
