This role is ideal for entry‑level candidates, while also being open to individuals with additional experience who are looking to grow within electric utility design.

ENTRUST continues to expand into key markets including renewables, power engineering services, EV infrastructure, data analytics, and geospatial, delivering cutting‑edge engineering, consulting, and automation services. As a Design Technician, you will support electric utility projects through a combination of field data collection and office‑based drafting/design work, with strong training and long‑term career development opportunities.

This position includes approximately 20-40% field work during the first year, focused on learning utility assets and field conditions, with a transition to increased remote and office‑based work over time as experience is gained.

The ideal candidate has any drafting or design exposure, GIS experience is a plus but not required, and is physically able to perform fieldwork, including walking job sites, taking measurements, and working outdoors in varying conditions. A valid driver's license is required, as local travel to field sites will be part of the role.
