Manager, Venue Design The VNI (Venues and Infrastructure) team plays a critical role in delivering competition and non-competition venues that are functional, innovative, and fully accessible for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. As part of the larger Games Planning & Delivery group, the VNI team ensures that all venues are designed and developed with the highest standards for functionality, sustainability, and inclusion. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Design Controls the Manager, Venue Design will support the development and production of drawing sets for a variety of Games venues. This role involves translating direction and design input into detailed drawings used for planning, budgeting, and construction purposes. The Manager, Venue Design will play a key role in ensuring that design documentation aligns with project requirements and timelines, working closely with the Senior Design Manager, internal teams, and external stakeholders to deliver responsible, accurate drawing packages. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, adapt quickly to evolving priorities, and possess exceptional project organization and management skills. Key Responsibilities: Manage the design team’s creation and maintenance of BIM models, ensuring their accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements and LA28’s standards. Coordinate BIM activities among the design team. Collaborate with functional areas, engineers, and contractors to produce design drawings for venues. Facilitate collaboration between internal teams ensuring alignment on deliverables and timelines. Produce venue drawing sets used by contractors and games planning. Background & Qualifications: Minimum5+ years of relevant experience architecture design, Bim coordination. Experience in space planning, architecture and design, event and games planning Proficiency in Revit Demonstrated commitment to co-creation and collaborative decision-making. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint. Strong understanding of design principles and construction documentation. Understanding of building codes and accessibility requirements. Excellent communication and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Games and Event experience is encouraged. Salary Range: $165,000 - $185,000 per year Job Function: Lead the design, simulation, testing, and release of RF Power Amplifiers and high-frequency components (active and passive) for both catalog and custom applications. Develop and optimize RF circuits and systems, including power combiners/dividers, couplers, filters, protection and monitoring circuitry, and DC biasing networks. Utilize advanced simulation tools (ADS, AWR, HFSS, CST, Momentum) and CAD tools (OrCAD, AutoCAD) for schematic capture, layout, and modeling. Perform hands-on tuning, testing, and troubleshooting of RF hardware using spectrum/network analyzers, power meters, and other lab equipment. Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure design for manufacturability and cost-effective production. Author technical documentation, application notes, and contribute to technical publications and webinars. Support ISO audits, internal reviews, and continuous improvement of engineering processes. THE OPPORTUNITY Silvus is seeking a full-time FPGA Design Engineer reporting to the Director of FPGA Engineering on the FPGA Engineering team. The successful individual in this role will participate in all aspects of the research and development process from concept to field deployment. This is a hybrid role between Packaging and Design teams. Most of the time will be engaged in Packaging designs and when needed to engage with the Design Engineering team. Experience 2+ years experience in the following disciplines: • Materials engineering, industrial design, DFM/DFA/DFMEA/PFMEA • Solid modeling using ArtiosCAD and SolidWorks, or equivalent parametric modeling software (Autodesk Inventor) • Manufacturing engineering including manufacturing and assembly process development and documentation, Lean six sigma background preferred • Experience in Thermal simulations using Inventor and SolidWorks • Strong knowledge and hands on experience with polymers, glass, metal, flexible paperboard & corrugated packaging material and manufacturing process, printing and decorating technologies, injection molding, thermoforming Roto Molding, and blow molding. • Experience working closely with contract manufacturing, prototyping, and packaging manufacturing • Understanding and expertise in cold chain/temperature sensitive logistics and supply chain • Experience designing packaging for performance and protection of core payload • Experience designing core payload holders which performs under industry standard shipper qualifications • Experience directly performing, overseeing and/or collaborating on physical, thermal and shipping qualification of packaging • Knowledge and experience with relevant standards and guidelines including but not limited to: ISTA (thermal and performance testing standards), ASTM (physical performance testing standards), CFR, ISO, PDA, WHO, GxP, etc. • Experience building and/or collaborating on validation protocols, executing protocols and building reports for shipping system validation/qualification and testing following industry standards • Familiarity with FMEA, DOE, DMAIC, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Design for Manufacturing (DFM)/ Design for Assembly (DFA) tools and methods are desirable • Understanding and/or direct experience with cGMP and FDA validation methodology is desirable.
